  John and the Team at Insulation Scotland (Edinburgh) Limited were fantastic.

Thorough but quick survey and consultation followed by a quotation that arrived when promised and at a competitive price. We chose them because of John's friendly demeanor.

A team of 3 blitzed a reasonably big job in less than a day.  Some of the walls in attic got their first insulation (you can see in the before and after images) and the flooring was re-laid and added to in some places,  and completely replaced in others.

All waste was bagged up and taken away. Everything was wiped down, hoovered and generally spick and span.

We couldn't be happier, and would confidently recommend John and his team.

  Edit 3/3/26: the owner came back to me eventually and said he would pay for the damage. Once I sent the invoice of the plumber he promptly paid. All solved. Great communication.

They sent someone in the morning to quote for a loft insulation job. Told him to be careful in the attic as we have the water heating manifold with pipes. Did the survei in 20 minutes. Come the evening the boiler had lost pressure, low and behold he had knocked a pipe from the manifold and it is actively leaking. Will not return my calls.

  Fantastic experience all round. John was very kind and friendly. Communication was prompt and easy. He explained how to apply for a grant from the govt. When it didnt work out for us he even kindly gave us a huge discount! Work was done very quick (approx an hour for us) and cleaned up after themselves leaving the house spotless. Sheeps wool is a premium insulation product that insulates your home like no other type of material. Our partner installers provide various sustainable insulation materials which include Knauf mineral wool which is the UK leading mineral wool insulation, specifically their Earthwool and Rockwool products. For sheep wool they use ThermaFleece Cosywool which began on a farm in Yorkshire and is now a leading product in the industry.

GRANTS AVAILABLE

The installers we work with are TrustMark approved, meaning they can install insulation after funding has been awarded via various schemes such as the governments ECO 4 scheme, the Great British Insulation Scheme and the Warmer Homes Scotland grant from Home Energy Scotland. Grants are available for loft insulation, cavity wall insulation and internal wall insulation.
