Great communication and prompt service. Very reasonable, competitive price for our loft insulation and good tidy job completed with no fuss. Not even scared of the numerous spiders and cobwebs! Recommend.

John and the Team at Insulation Scotland (Edinburgh) Limited were fantastic.

Thorough but quick survey and consultation followed by a quotation that arrived when promised and at a competitive price. We chose them because of John's friendly demeanor.

A team of 3 blitzed a reasonably big job in less than a day. Some of the walls in attic got their first insulation (you can see in the before and after images) and the flooring was re-laid and added to in some places, and completely replaced in others.

All waste was bagged up and taken away. Everything was wiped down, hoovered and generally spick and span.

We couldn't be happier, and would confidently recommend John and his team.

Edit 3/3/26: the owner came back to me eventually and said he would pay for the damage. Once I sent the invoice of the plumber he promptly paid. All solved. Great communication.

They sent someone in the morning to quote for a loft insulation job. Told him to be careful in the attic as we have the water heating manifold with pipes. Did the survei in 20 minutes. Come the evening the boiler had lost pressure, low and behold he had knocked a pipe from the manifold and it is actively leaking. Will not return my calls.

Fantastic experience all round. John was very kind and friendly. Communication was prompt and easy. He explained how to apply for a grant from the govt. When it didnt work out for us he even kindly gave us a huge discount! Work was done very quick (approx an hour for us) and cleaned up after themselves leaving the house spotless. This was a completely stress free experience. We definitely recommend insulation scotia !

What Sets Us Apart

Approved Insulation Contractors

Insulation Scotland Ltd only works with experienced and approved insulation contractors who have a proven track record across the country. They have all of the required accreditations and a strong reputation in the industry. Our aim, along with our partners is to properly insulate homes in via underfloor, internal, external and cavity wall insulation, loft and roof insulation.

Mineral Wool and Sheeps Wool Insulation

Mineral wool insulation is a type of material made from natural or synthetic minerals. It is commonly used to insulate residential and commercial buildings, and is an eco-friendly solution. Sheep's wool is another premium wool insulation product that insulates your home like no other type of material. We offer various sustainable insulation materials which include Knauf mineral wool which is the UK leading mineral wool insulation, specifically their Earthwool and Rockwool products. For sheeps wool material, ThermaFleece Cosywool is used which began on a farm in Yorkshire and is now a leading product in the industry.

Foil & Insulation Boards

Foil insulation and PIR rigid insulation boards are perfect for room in roof insulation, loft and roof insulation in particular and provide another option. Our goal is to provide you with the best insulation type for your home, rather than just insist one material is best for all circumstances!

Grants Available

The installers we work with are TrustMark approved, meaning they can install insulation after funding has been awarded via various schemes such as the governments ECO 4 scheme, the Great British Insulation Scheme and the Warmer Homes Scotland grant from Home Energy Scotland. Grants are available for loft insulation, cavity wall insulation and internal wall insulation.

Satisfaction Guaranteed

Our partner installers have a set protocol they follow on every job to ensure we maintain the highest standards possible. This includes a thorough inspection at the end of every insulation job completed by one of their senior members of staff.
