Insulation Scotland Ltd
Without giving too much attention to it, there is a fake TrustPilot profile with fake reviews online which has nothing to do with Insulation Scotland Ltd.
On this page you can see our genuine 5 star customer reviews left on Google, Facebook and Scotland Trusted Trader.
"The two men who carried out the work were Very prompt, reliable, friendly, and highly skilled gentleman. Through their work ethic, they’re a vast credit to their company.
They wasted no time in getting the work done to a high standard. They even lifted, and replaced all the floor boards. All I had to do was give them access to the Loft. The two guys did the rest.
I have no complaints whatsoever so ever.
I wish all the team at Insulation Scotland well.
Thank you John, for making me feel I made the right choice.
I urge anyone not to pass these guys by. It would be a massive mistake, if you were to do so."

This was for a home in Edinburgh, to ensure a functional loft space was warm enough for use.
Foil insulation also provides extra space vs other materials, which meant the loft area square meterage was utilised to its maximum.
Foil insulation also makes areas cooler in the summer and with this area being used by a family, this allows for an additional functional area of the home all year round.
Once again, YBS super quilt multi foil was used for this installation, click here for more information.
"I got multi-foil insulation under rafters. Work was completed efficiently and to a high standard. That was January, now it's August - I'm happy with the stability of temperature within - doesn't get too cold or hot - insulation doing a good job."

"Had John and his colleagues come out to install insulation in my attic spaces to meet EPC guidelines for a Home Energy Scotland Grant and Loan.
His team were extremely professional, and managed to get everything installed in record time. They even moved around the clutter in the attics as they were going.
I would certainly recommend them if you require insulation to be installed or retrofitted.😃"

Loft Insulation for Crail Community Hall, Fife
Large loft insulation install just before Christmas 2024 for Crail Community Partnership see their website www.crailcommunitypartnership.org.
This local community run organisation needed to improve their energy efficiency and heat retention for the facility that is commonly used by locals for a wide range of events.
The installation had some challenges due to several existing water tanks in parts of the loft and extended slopes on each side.
Insulation Scotland Ltd used particular techniques to ensure all sloped areas were properly and safely insulated with 200mm of premium eco-friendly mineral wool for maximum heat retention.
See our gallery of pictures below showcasing another successful installation.
Loft Insulation Doune, Stirling, February 2025
Large loft insulation project here of nearly 300 square metres on a lovely property in Doune near Stirling.
The homeowners had not long moved into the home and renovating it, including making attempts to reduce the large heating bills they receive.
Loft insulation has been proven to improve heat retention by up to 45%, given their huge loft spaces cover the majority of their property, they will get a great return on their investment!
Both homeowners were happy with our work, for which we arrived early to complete in one day. They left this 5 star review on Google.
“Great service from start to end. Team were fast, polite and explained everything as they went along.”
Before and after pictures capturing just a small section of this huge nearly 300 square metre loft area.
Loft Insulation Leith, Edinburgh, February 2025
Local loft insulation for a top floor flat in Leith, which has a shared loft space commonly found on these victorian Edinburgh properties.
Access proved a little more challenging due to height and the job also involved rubbish removal, clearing and moving items around the loft, including some quite large and heavy items. In the end, the loft was nearly completely clear of this with larger items left in a more organised manner.
The homeowner had an existing layer of 100mm of older insulation material, meaning our top up with an additional 200mm of premium eco-friendly mineral wool, brought their home above the recommended 270mm. Therefore their relatively small investment improved not only their heat retention, but provided maximum points on their EPC certificate.
The result was another happy customer who left us the following 5 star review on Google:
“Brilliant service. John was helpful, prompt and professional throughout the time working together!”
As you can see from the gallery, lots of mess cleared and removed, with new insulation now in place for a much tidier and better insulated loft.
Loft Insulation Stirling, November 2024
Loft insulation install in a customers home in Stirling during November 2024.
This was a large loft and had a lot of older spotlights that we safely covered with firehoods to ensure a safe and effective installation.
The customer had a 100mm layer of older material which we topped up with an additional 200mm of premium eco-friendly mineral wool, taking their home above the recommended 270mm to ensure the best score for the homes EPC rating.
The customer was delighted and left us this 5 star review on Google.
“Price seemed reasonable, guys were quick, tidy and socialable. Would recommend.”
Loft Insulation near Stirling, October 2024
Loft insulation top up for this homeowner in Airth near Stirling customers home in Stirling last October 2024.
The customer paid extra for extra layers of material, wasn’t fussed about aesthetics as his family don’t use the space other than for minimal storage.
Maximum heat retention was the goal for his fairly recently built detached house. With a total of 400mm of premium Knauf eco-friendly mineral wool now in place, it is safe to say his home will trap the heat just nicely!🔥
We had a good chat with the customer who was an interesting guy, as we tend to do on jobs, and where pleased to see these words on his 5 star online feedback.
“I recently had my loft insulated by Insulation Scotland, and I couldn’t be more pleased. From start to finish, their team was friendly, professional, and went above and beyond. Communication was seamless, with prompt replies to my questions, clear explanations, and help adjusting documentation for funding requirements. They used eco-friendly materials and kept everything straightforward and timely. Highly recommend Insulation Scotland for quality service and exceptional customer care.”
